Approximately 400 teachers mostly Kenyan teach French at the secondary school. Three quarters of these are employed by Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and enjoy the status of civil servants. The others are directly recruited by Boards of Governors (BOG) of the various institutions and their situation is much less enviable. The teachers teach 2 subjects most of the time.

Les autres sont directement recrutés par Board of Governors (BOG) des établissements et leur situation est beaucoup moins enviable. Les professeurs enseignent la plupart du temps 2 matières.
